Description: This learning event satisfies the HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING Topic Area: 10A NCAC 09 .0706 (b)(9) CPR teaches basic life support skills for adults, children and infants which includes: how to provide cardiac compressions, breathing for anyone that is in cardiac arrest and how to recognize the early onset of a heart attack. In First-Aid, learners will demonstrate how to control bleeding, wrap bleeding injuries, treat shock, sudden illnesses, and injuries
